About this policy

This policy explains how UniQore handles personal information collected through this website. It covers people who visit the site and those who contact us using our enquiry form.

It does not cover the UniQore driver app or web portal. Those products have their own privacy documentation, which is provided to customers and their drivers separately.

What we collect

When you contact us, book a demo or ask to be told when we launch, we collect the details you choose to provide. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, company name and the content of your message.

We also collect information about how the site is used, such as which pages are viewed, how you arrived at the site and general location. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies set by us and by the third-party services listed below. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you accept them in our cookie banner. See Cookies below and our Cookie Policy for details.

Why we use it

We use the details you submit to:

  • respond to your enquiry

  • send you information relevant to what you asked about

  • follow up on that conversation where it is appropriate to do so

  • let you know when we launch, if you asked us to

Our lawful basis for handling enquiries is legitimate interests, namely responding to people who contact us about our services. Where your enquiry relates to becoming a customer, we also rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Where we use analytics or marketing cookies, our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page.

We do not use your enquiry details for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell your information to anyone.

Launch updates and marketing

If you sign up to be notified about our launch, we will send you a single email when we go live. We will not send you any further marketing unless you separately agree to it, for example by asking us to keep in touch. Any marketing email we do send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can email us at any time to opt out.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run this website. HubSpot (customer relationship management, forms and website analytics, with data held in HubSpot’s EU data centres), Framer (website hosting and form handling) and Google (Tag Manager, Analytics and reCAPTCHA spam protection) process information on our behalf. Meta (Meta Pixel) and LinkedIn (Insight Tag) help us measure our advertising and also use the information they collect for their own purposes, as described in their privacy policies. Google, Meta and LinkedIn tools only run if you accept analytics or marketing cookies.

We do not share your details with any other organisation except where we are required to do so by law. Some of these providers process information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or on the UK adequacy regulations (including the UK–US Data Bridge) where the provider is certified.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and launch sign-up records for 24 months from your most recent contact with us, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or we are required to keep them for longer. Information collected through cookies is kept for the periods set out in our Cookie Policy.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us to:

  • provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you

  • correct anything that is inaccurate

  • delete your information

  • restrict or stop how we use it

  • provide your information in a portable format

  • object to how we use your information, including for direct marketing

  • withdraw your consent at any time where we rely on it, for example for cookies
